This question was fill in.  You can imagine the diversity of answers I received.  I was able to group the answers under 9 headings.  Here are the types of answers I placed under each heading:

1. Dependence = Dependence upon God, time spent in prayer, filled with the Holy Spirit, guided by the Holy Spirit, an intimate relationship with God.

 2. Live it = Live what you preach, speak from the heart, speak from personal conviction and use personal experience in your messages.

 3. Preach with passion = Preach passionately, inspire and challenge your audience

 4. Master your content = Know Scripture intimately, keep learning and growing so that you feed people from the truth of God

 5. Be relevant = Make your content relevant to where your people are, use real life applications

 6. Connect with the audience = Connect with those to whom you preach, love them, be real and authentic

 7. Teach the Bible = The Bible must be the central message, teach it and it alone

 8. Be clear = Make your message easily accessible to your audience

 9. It is not about excitement = Our job is not to excite, it is to teach the truth of God
